Prompt: Epic Poseidon
Prompt: Castor Tideborn is the offspring of the mighty sea god Poseidon and an unassuming mortal fisherwoman named Halia. Born on the shores of a secluded island, Castor's life was steeped in the whispers of the ocean from the moment he took his first breath. Raised in a simple fishing village, he quickly distinguished himself with his uncanny ability to predict the weather and charm the most elusive of sea creatures into his nets. His mother, fearing for his safety, revealed his true heritage to him when he was but a lad of fifteen summers. With the revelation came the burden of his destiny: to serve as the mediator between the tempestuous realm of the sea and the fragile lands of men. Castor embraced his fate, using his power to tame the raging waters during storms and guide lost sailors home to their loved ones. His deeds earned him the respect of both the villagers and the creatures of the deep, who soon grew to view him as a guardian and protector.

As the years rolled by, Castor's reputation grew, and the gods took notice. Poseidon, proud of his son, bestowed upon him the title of "The Nautical Herald," granting him dominion over the tides and the ability to speak the ancient language of the sea. Castor's mother, however, grew fearful of the envy that his greatness might incur from the capricious gods. She begged Poseidon to release her son from his divine duties, allowing him to live a peaceful life with the humans he had come to love. The sea god, ever the strategist, agreed, but on one condition: that Castor's heart remain pure and unblemished by greed or malice. Should he ever betray the trust of the sea, his powers would be stripped away, and he would be cast into the depths.
