Lipid profile: Lower cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, VLDL in treated groups. Best effects: 200 mg/kg extract significantly prevented glutathione decrease and malondialdehyde increase. Histopathology: Least damage at 200 mg/kg dose and silymarin. Conclusion Ajuga extract (200 mg/kg): Best liver-protective effects, improved fat profile compared to silymarin.
