Unfortunately the output from this workflow is too large to upload to a website.

I am posting some images with the original in the upper left corner, and then scaled down to a much smaller size.

What this workflow does

👉 This workflow upscales an image so can be printed or used with a print service.  AI generates great images for computer screens, but unfortunately they don't print well, being just 1024x1024 or less in size.  

This workflow transforms the image using 3 stages.  Stage 1 and Stage 3 just use a simple upscale with model.  he middle stage is an sd ultimate upscaler that uses lcm and just does a fast 2 step processing of each tile.  lcm is perfect for rapidly adding details to these small 512x512 tiles.  

How to use this workflow

👉 Just put your image that needs upscaled in the input box and put the workflow in the queue.

This is set up for 512 x 512 images by default. If you are upscaling a 1024x1024 image, you need to turn off stage 3.  If you are upscaling a 2048x2048 image turn off both stage 1 and stage 2.  

Tips about this workflow

👉I have a 64GB cpu only machine and if the final image goes above 10,000x10,000 pixels I run out of memory and the comfy ui backend gets killed.  

The ultimate sd upscaler is set up to work off the sdxl lcm lora.  You will probably have to change this to match the name on your system.  I am using an sdxl checkpoint, you might have to change this for your system.  The lcm lora and the checkpoint have to match which model they were made for, sdxl or sd1.5.

You may have to download the upscale models. I found them on the internet.  Or just change the upscalers to use an upscale model on your system.
