Flux Lora Tests: to find your best Lora
5.0
0 reviewsDescription
GOAL:
When you train a Lora and have multiple epochs, this workflow helps test your Loras to find the best one(s).
MORE CONTEXT:
This workflow automates testing multiple Lora versions. For instance, the automated process can create X number of random seeds, that will then be re-used for each Lora being tested. Or you can use a fixed seed that will be used accross all Loras, useful if you plan on testing different weights for the Loras. It makes sense in the workflow... ;)
BY DEFAULT:
The workflow is set by default to use Flux1.dev with flux.1-turbo-alpha Lora to use only 8 steps rendering per image. This speeds up rendering considerably, and the output is still very nice. Make sure you have the turbo lora installed.
MISSING NODES:
As usual, you will probably have to install missing nodes, in particular you may be missing XYZ Plot Node. Simply use the MANAGER to install missing nodes.
INSTRUCTIONS:
The workflow is pretty straightforward and contains STEP BY STEP instructions on the workflow itself.
Each Test Ouput is generated into a folder.
To VIEW the TEST OUTPUT , you click the OPEN THE RESULT button on the XYZ PLOT Node. This will show you the test grid results.
It's pretty straightforward.
Note: the workflow is set to output test images at 2MP which is about 11s per image on an RTX 4090. You may want to adjust the output size to your preference.
NOTE 2: BATCH SIZE is set to 6 by default, with Random Seed (set in Global See (Inspire) node), using Test Loras at weight 1.0. If you plan on testing different Lora Weights in the XYZ PLOT NODE, you may want to change the Seeds to FIXED and reduce the BATCH SIZE to 1. This way, you get one fixed seed per variable weight, so it is easier to compare each Lora versions at different weights. It will all make sense once you start using the workflow...
Feel free to test your combination of test settings. It's pretty powerful.
WHY THIS WORKFLOW:
I just couldn't find a workflow in the community that was doing something similar (maybe I missed it). I had found one here for DXL Lora testing, but the three Lora Testing workflows for FLUX I found here didn't seem to do the XYZ kind of automated tests I was looking for... In any case, here's my take on it and I'm sharing to give back to the community which is so often helpful top me. I hope this workflow is useful to you.
