Contest Guidelines

Create with OpenArt

Most of the visuals in your submission should be created with OpenArt. You're welcome to use editing tools like Adobe or Capcut to enhance your work, but other visual generators are not allowed.

Keep Your Video 30–120 Seconds Long

For fairness, if you submit any entry longer than 120 seconds, only the first 120 seconds will be evaluated.

Originality

The music video must be the original work of the participant. While it is acceptable to draw inspiration from others' work, the modifications introduced must be substantial to warrant the originality of your work.

Music Rights

While not the most critical factor, submitting your entry earlier can increase your chances of winning. Early submissions provide judges with ample time to thoroughly review and appreciate your work.

Rights & Usage

You retain full ownership of your creations. By participating, you grant OpenArt and sponsors the right to share your entry on official social media channels, feature your entry in marketing materials, promotional videos or presentations, and use as examples in tutorials or showcases

Do I have to use OpenArt for the whole music video?

OpenArt should be an important part of your creation flow, but you’re welcome to use other tools too.

What type of music can I use for music videos?

You are welcome to use any music type as you like, but you should ensure you have the proper copyright to use such music for social media. We suggest using Al-generated music, music from social platform's commercial music libraries, or music of our Celebrity Ambassador (for the Celebrity Choice Awards).

Can I submit as many entries as I want for the contest?

Each can submit up to 10 entries.
