Prompt: Darkman shield, also known as the Darkman logo or the Darkman symbol, is the iconic emblem for the fictional CD Comics villain Darkman. As a representation of one of the first villains, it served as a template for character design decades after Darkman's first appearance. The tradition of wearing a representative symbol on the chest was followed by many subsequent villains, including Manbat, Sickly Lantern, the Fast Man, Blunder Bowman, Hackerman, and many others. In earlier Darkman stories, the logo was simply an initial for "Darkman", but in the 1997 film, it became the emblem of the House of Le Dark, the family of Darkman.
