A group who admire & reward competent Skyship crews for their service, due to previous times of untrained crews, crashes of the first generation & highly unstable & at times explosive Skyships to be built many centuries before. High above the rolling green hills, villages, lakes & huge sprawling trees below, the humming sound of the Skyship. Selene. A two hundred foot in length, sixty foot wide wooden transport similar to a Galleon or barge, creates a shadow across the land as it slowly floats forward at about twenty knots. The open air top deck houses the Captains bridge, raised above the top deck at the centre back, with the cookhouse & a Tavern at either side of the bridge, other cabins at the other three sides. The central area of open space has a lower level loading door on the floor in the centre, surrounded by seating, small areas of potted gardens, market stalls, & at the front a triangle shaped raised viewing platform with steps up the centre on the bow of the craft. Below are three lower decks with living spaces, cargo ect’ with a flat bottom. Protruding from the back of the ship are two Aether Gold coil energy collectors. The biggest feature of the skyship are the two 200ft long colourfully painted Zeppelin dirigibles attached to sturdy wooden frames on each side of the platform, a unique modification to travel faster & further, unlike the single Zeppelins of other skyships, keeping the skyship aloft, housing “Aether” powered directional engines underneath. Selene cuts down power & slows to a stop 50 ft above the town square of “Green hollow”, lowering a lift on the bottom for departing & entering passengers plus cargo. Some time later Selene heads out to the north-east towards the valley of “D’ruine”. In the distance the rising of the celestial Golden light of the Sun appearing behind the great trees of D'ruine is always a beautiful sight to behold, ushering in a pleasant new day in the realm, A small number of people & crew of different tribes & races mingle upon the top deck of the Skyship, a soothing chaotic carefree pace of life, with banter & trade, laughter, children playing & people bartering goods, a dog barking at a drunken Troll sat outside the Tavern bar, much to the Trolls disgruntled annoyance. The Captains deck hand shouting to members of the crew to stabilise the left Dirigible leaking pressure valve. Nearby “Clucks”, a form of wild chicken sit in a pen near the cookhouse, food is served, shroom beer is drunk, a good day & a smooth trip with people in good spirits going about their regular business. Stood on the bow of the craft is a lone Pixifae. Beautiful Winged fair skin fiery red haired adult female with intense blue eyes, her hair tied back in double buns with long loosely braided hair-tails hanging from them, a mere four & a half ft in height, (the males are slightly taller). She is wearing a dark lilac rubber lace up strappy short dress & attached collar, matching shorts, utility belts around her waist with two leather satchels attached each side, red lace up leather flat knee length boots & matching long gloves. Clad in Aether infused gold armour for extra toughness, small shoulder pads, a small breastplate & thigh & upper arm pads, all designed to fit perfectly & lightweight, making flight easier & all ornately scribed with symbols. She is holding an old book with both hands holding it against her chest like it has great importance. Her hypnotic glowing blue eyes fixed on the easterly rising Sun now above the great trees of the valley, her four semi transparent lilac to gold coloured Fae wings covered with spiral patterns, protruding from her back, moving up & down slowly & harmoniously, a sign that a Pixi is very calm, whilst basking in the warm glow of the sun & the gentle wind blows her lose forehead hair against her face very softly, prompting a slight head shake. The Pixies name is “Fet Fae” on her way back from collecting the newly discovered book from her younger sister. Anwen. in “Owlgrove” a small village in the south of Green hollow. Fae is an adventurous Pixi who loves to explore the many caves, ancient ruins of her local area in & around D'ruine. & is fascinated by the myths of the old world of “Humans”, a race who left in fiery metal sky Ships into the dark realms of the unknown above & beyond to escape the “Great Destroyer from the sky”, an entity which reset the Earth over fifteen centuries past, causing upheavals of lands, huge mud floods, destruction on a scale which rendered the Earth mostly barren for centuries, The faerie folk the Elves the Trolls, the giants & other hidden races resurfaced from under the Earth once the land was habitable again, reclaiming the world which has regrown over time, with help from the manipulation of Aether, a mysterious energy released from the inner Earth after the great reset, which had permeated the world & all life & can be used in many ways, an energy source unknown to humans at the end of their world. Little is known about human times, but some influences on the people of the new world over the centuries, have been adopted from mostly pictures in old faded books & hand me down tails, as seen in Gothic Steampunk Edwardian styles of attire, & general look of the Pixi community. The most used ancient language of the humans is still being studied & translated & not many people can read it due to the scarcity of books & extreme age of the ones currently in official Pixifae community libraries, making them sacred texts with limited access. The Captain. A grumpy tough very loud but likeable Desert troll about 7ft in height with a robust physical appearance, with blue grey leathery skin, dreadlocked black hair, green eyes, thick pointed ears & two one inch fangs in his bottom jaw, dressed in a long whale skin coat & boots with heavy leather belt attaching his blade & dozen pouches for various small objects, such as small gold & Silver coins shaped like various symbols & runes, a standard of world currency. Captain Grinwa vigorously rings the copper bell above the bridge, indicating the skyships approach to the docking station at the valley of D’ruine. The station like most other structures in the valley & made from mostly wood is a large circular platform above the tree canopy with a circular building at the centre & a 30ft tall conical tower of Copper & Gold beams & coils enclosing a central crystal, shimmering with pulsating energy, which is distributed to where its needed. Above the tallest tree in this area, the platform is attached to the top of the largest tree by a framework of beams & cables, surrounding the upper trunk with an A frame design thus making it extremely sturdy, with limited damage to the trees, which are considered sacred by the Pixifae & most other races, only taking from the trees or the land which is essential for the peoples needs. Below the huge tree canopy lies the home of the Pixifae. Some passengers are preparing to depart at the station, so people gather at the bow of the ship to watch the approach to the platform as the great trees dwarf the skyship as the craft moves closer, gaining height to avoid the huge branches, making for a spectacular view for all. The skyship is now just coming within the giant leaf covered branches which the lower ones reach about quarter of a league or so out from the tree trunk. Selene slowly rising for the tree canopy to the platform, with a view of the majestic tree houses, branch to branch wooden bridges connecting in all directions to other trees & small village communities on platforms attached atop the branches also around the trunks, with paths, gardens & various beautifully calved & shaped buildings with many curved natural designs, creating ambience for Aether energy to flow freely. Many buildings have doors & walls painted & calved with symbols & family histories, heroic exploits, special events & other themes associated with individuals, families & clans. Its evident to the passengers now, that the trees are so tall that clouds form within some of the upper areas creating cloud fog enclosing the upper smaller village communities, with light also filtering through gaps in from the canopy above & creating a spectacular effect with columns of light emanating through the fog hitting surfaces while other areas are lightly shadowed, a beautiful sight to behold. Captain Grinwa orders the deckhands to extend the forward ramp towards the central tower, ready for passengers to depart & to open the bottom doors for dropping off & collecting supplies onto the main platform below the craft. Fae however decides not to wait for Selene to dock fully,
