Hey everyone! Check out OpenFLUX.1, a new model that competes with FLUX.1. It’s fully open-source and supports fine-tuning, allowing you to customize it for more detailed and unique outputs.

OpenFLUX.1 is a fine-tuned version of the FLUX.1-schnell model, with the distillation process removed. While Flux Schnell is licensed under Apache 2.0, its distilled nature prevents fine-tuning. Despite this, it excels at generating images in just 1-4 steps. OpenFLUX.1 aims to provide an open-source, fine-tunable alternative with a more permissive license.

OpenFLUX.1 is a fine tune of the FLUX.1-schnell model that has had the distillation trained out of it.
